Tango in Buenos Aires & Mendoza 2026

An immersive, insider Tango Retreat with Letitia Simone & Andrés Sosa — 17–25 January 2026

Dance Where Tango Was Born

This January, experience tango not as a tourist — but as an insider.

Join us in Buenos Aires, the heart of tango, for an unforgettable 8-night retreat filled with movement, music, and magic. Unlike typical large-group tango holidays, we keep our group size intimate so you receive personalised attention and meaningful connection — both on and off the dance floor.

You’ll dance in historic milongas, train with world-class maestros, and enjoy individual feedback that truly helps your tango grow. But it’s more than a dance retreat: with curated cultural experiences, boutique shopping, countryside adventures, spa access, and authentic Argentine cuisine, you’ll immerse yourself fully in the rhythm of this incredible city.

Optional 3-night extension in Mendoza adds mountains, wine country, and a traditional asado — the soulful side of Argentina.

What’s Included – Buenos Aires Retreat (17–25 Jan)

From unforgettable milongas to countryside adventures, we’ve curated every detail to immerse you in the soul of tango — while leaving space for rest, discovery, and connection. Here’s what’s included in your Buenos Aires experience:

Train with Argentina’s Finest Maestros

Every day, you’ll train with some of Argentina’s most celebrated tango maestros — dancers renowned for their artistry, clarity, and deep roots in tango tradition.

We carefully hand-select each maestro not only for their reputation, but for their ability to teach with generosity, intelligence, and musicality. These workshops are crafted to stretch, support, and inspire — whether you're refining your phrasing or deepening your connection to the dance.

Why January Is the Moment

This is when Buenos Aires pulses with the heart of tango.

In January, the city comes alive — the top dancers and maestros return from international tours for the Argentine summer, and milongas are buzzing with:

  • 💃 Top dancers and maestros are back in Argentina
  • 🎶 Milongas are alive with live orchestras and shows
  • 🌇 Rooftop wine, dancing under the stars, warm nights
  • 🎭 Tango theatres in full swing every night
“Other trips take you to Buenos Aires — this one takes you into it.”

After the energy of Buenos Aires, extend your journey into the soulful landscapes of Argentina’s west — with an unforgettable three-day escape to Mendoza.

This is not just a scenic detour. It’s a homecoming — led by your host Andrés Sosa, who was born and raised in Mendoza. He’ll take you beyond the guidebooks, introducing you to the rhythms, flavors, and traditions of the place that shaped him.
